Unedited ABC Miniseries Road To 9/11 Finally Seeing Light Of Day

The think tank American Freedom Alliance stated today it'll screen the entire unedited version from the 2006 ABC miniseries The road to 9/11 on Sunday, Sept. 11, the ten-year anniversary from the 9/11 attacks. The audience bills the big event in the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City as the very first time the unedited version is going to be proven, after ABC trimmed 1 minute of footage in front of its original broadcast airing — a move the small’s author-producer Cyrus Nowrasteh stated was because of political pressure from Dems who disputed the details described within the script, that was critical of Leader Bill Clinton because of not killing Osama bin Laden when because of the chance in 1998. (ABC marketed the small took it's origin from the 9/11 Commission report, but commission member Richard Ben-Veniste and also the Clinton Administration were among individuals that disputed its version of occasions). That same pressure, Nowrasteh has stated many occasions since, has postponed some 1/2-hour miniseries from being launched on DVD. Quite simply, everything grew to become a large morass that nobody could really fix (see ABC’s 9/11: Large Mystery! Where’s Disney Chairman George Mitchell Within This Mess?). The American Freedom Alliance, which bills itself “a non-political, non-aligned movement that encourages, defends and upholds Western values and ideals,” can have the small in 2 parts: 10AM-12:30 PM and 5PM-7PM, having a forum and commemoration for 9/11 sufferers held between tests. Nowrastehwill be questioned live at 4:30 PM by John Ziegler, whose documentary Obstructing The road to 9/11 stories efforts to avoid the miniseries from airing.
