Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton Nominated for Top CMA Award

The 21-year-old country singer is up for female vocalist of the year, album of the year for Speak Now, music video of the year for "Mean,"song of the year for "Mean" and for co-producing Speak Now. PHOTOS: Taylor Swift Turns 21 Jason Aldean is nominated in five categories this year, though he has never taken home an award. This year, he has been recognized in the entertainer of the year, male vocalist, album, single of the year and music video of the year categories. The latter two nominations are for his song with former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson, "Don't You Wanna Stay." The Voice musician coach and last year's winner in the male vocalist category, Blake Shelton, has been nominated for five awards. "Old Alabama," Shelton's song with Alabama, snagged two of those nominations, for musical event and video of the year. Shelton is also nominated for entertainer of the year, male vocalist of the year and single of the year for "Honey Bee." PHOTOS: The Billboard Music Awards Other nominees of note include The Civil Wars in the vocal duo category, along with Eric Church and Chris Young in the new artist category. Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Sara Evans will vying for the female vocalist of the year title, with Swift and Carrie Underwood. Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Rascal Flatts and Little Big Town will compete with the Zac Brown Band for vocal group of the year.
